FIRST LOOK: Sanya Malhotra transforms into Anupama Banerjee for Shakuntala Devi biopic

Vidya Balan has begun shooting for her next film Shakuntala Devi. The film brings to life the inspiring story of Shakuntala Devi popularly known as ‘The Human Computer’. In September, it was reported that Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra was roped in to play Vidya Balan’s daughter in the film. And even Sanya has kick-started shooting and her transformation is amazing. Sanya Malhotra shared her first look from the film. She is dressed in casual with long hair and bangs. "Super excited to play Anupama Banerji in #ShakuntalaDevi ♥Already in love with my look in the film," she captioned the photo.

Anu Menon and Nayanika Mahtani have written the screenplay and Ishita Moitra is the dialogue writer of the film. Directed by Anu Menon, Shakuntala Devi – Human Computer is a tale of the human mind and human relationships and will see a worldwide release in the summer of 2020.
